Interim Federal Health Program (IFHP)

This federal program is intended for people falling in the following group and are not eligible for provincial or territorial health insurance:

• refugee claimants
• protected persons, including resettled refugees
• certain other groups

However, this program will not cover services or product that maybe claimed under private insurance.
